It's been many years since I've painted anything – which I've justified because of multiple moves, lack of studio space, and well, you know the type of endless excuses one can come up with for not pursuing one's creativity. Meanwhile, in my personal life and in my art I have been consciously using my non-dominant left hand more and more to balance out my right acting body and mind. And, as of this spring rebooted by creative practice with only creating with my less used, less knowledgeable hand exclusively – beginning as I did as a child – with drawings which you can see elsewhere on this site.
Below, are the first 3 paintings on reclaimed canvases from this on-going experiment which where made simultaneously moving from one to the other as direction would wane in process on the painting on the table in front of me.
